Jefferies Sticks to Their Buy Rating for Halliburton (HAL)
Jefferies analyst Lloyd Byrne reiterated a Buy rating on Halliburton yesterday and set a price target of $47.00.

According to TipRanks, Byrne is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 18.2% and a 57.47% success rate. Byrne covers the Energy sector, focusing on stocks such as Cenovus Energy, Chevron, and Ovintiv.
In addition to Jefferies, Halliburton also received a Buy from Citi’s Scott Gruber in a report issued on July 23. However, on July 22, Freedom Capital Markets upgraded Halliburton (NYSE: HAL) to a Hold.
Based on Halliburton’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending June 30, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $5.71 billion and a net profit of $534 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $5.51 billion and had a net profit of $472 million
