Hawaiian Electric (HE) Receives a Hold from Barclays

Barclays analyst Nicholas Campanella maintained a Hold rating on Hawaiian Electric today and set a price target of $10.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $10.72.

According to TipRanks, Campanella is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 8.9% and a 62.71% success rate. Campanella covers the Utilities sector, focusing on stocks such as Centerpoint Energy, NextEra Energy, and Evergy.

The word on The Street in general, suggests a Hold analyst consensus rating for Hawaiian Electric with a $12.00 average price target, implying an 11.94% upside from current levels. In a report released on June 27, Jefferies also maintained a Hold rating on the stock with a $11.00 price target.

Based on Hawaiian Electric’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending March 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $744.07 million and a net profit of $27.14 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $792.01 million and had a net profit of $42.6 million
