The latest announcement is out from Honeywell International ( (HON) ).

Honeywell has recast its historical segment information for the year ended December 31, 2025 to reflect a 2026 realignment that created a new Process Automation and Technology segment and reshaped its Industrial Automation segment. The move combines core Honeywell Process Solutions offerings and UOP into the new unit, eliminates separate reporting of Energy and Sustainability Solutions following the October 30, 2025 spin-off of Advanced Materials, and leaves Aerospace Technologies, Building Automation, Process Automation and Technology, and Industrial Automation as the company’s reportable segments.

The company is updating prior disclosures, including business descriptions, risk factors, management discussion and segment financial data, solely to align with the new segment structure and a new revenue disaggregation by business model in automation-related segments. Honeywell emphasized that the realignment and recast do not alter previously reported consolidated financial statements or cash flows, signaling a reporting change aimed at better reflecting its evolving portfolio and segment leadership rather than a revision of underlying financial performance.

The most recent analyst rating on (HON) stock is a Hold with a $245.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Honeywell International stock, see the HON Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on HON Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, HON is a Neutral.

The score is driven primarily by solid but slightly softening fundamentals and higher leverage (financial performance), partially offset by constructive 2026 guidance supported by strong orders/backlog (earnings call). Technical signals are mixed and valuation is reasonable but not cheap, keeping the overall score in the upper-middle range.
