Bernstein Sticks to Their Hold Rating for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)

Bernstein analyst Mark Newman maintained a Hold rating on Hewlett Packard Enterprise today and set a price target of $24.00.

In addition to Bernstein, Hewlett Packard Enterprise also received a Hold from TipRanks – Google’s Google Communication Equipment in a report issued yesterday. However, on January 13, Goldman Sachs upgraded Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) to a Buy.

Based on Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending October 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $9.7 billion and a net profit of $175 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $8.48 billion and had a net profit of $1.37 billion

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 76 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of HPE in relation to earlier this year. Last month, Antonio Neri, the President & CEO of HPE sold 26,457.00 shares for a total of $647,667.36.
