Hexcel ( (HXL) ) has provided an announcement.
Hexcel Corporation has refinanced part of its debt structure by issuing $400 million of 4.900% Senior Notes due 2031 and using the proceeds, along with cash on hand, to redeem its existing 3.950% Senior Notes due 2027. The transaction, completed on May 28, 2026, maintains the company’s total senior notes outstanding at $400 million while extending the maturity profile of its obligations.
The redemption of the 2027 Notes was carried out under the terms of an existing indenture originally dated August 3, 2015, and later supplemented in 2017, with U.S. Bank Trust Company serving as trustee. The move indicates Hexcel’s ongoing management of its capital structure, potentially locking in longer-term financing at a known rate and providing greater visibility over its future debt maturities for investors and other stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (HXL) stock is a Buy with a $105.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Hexcel stock, see the HXL Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on HXL Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, HXL is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by steady-but-not-elite financial performance (good cash generation but higher leverage and some margin softness) and supportive technicals (price above key moving averages with positive MACD). These positives are partially offset by a demanding valuation (high P/E, low yield), while the earnings call adds support via reaffirmed guidance and improving margins/cash flow despite identifiable near-term risks.
