ING Groep ( (ING) ) just unveiled an update.
On 11 February 2026, ING Groep announced it will redeem in full two USD-denominated SEC-registered senior note issues on their contractual call date of 1 April 2026. The redemption covers USD 400 million callable floating rate senior notes and USD 1.1 billion 1.726% callable fixed-to-floating rate senior notes, with holders receiving principal plus accrued interest, and The Bank of New York Mellon’s London branch acting as paying agent.
The Dutch lender also disclosed its intention to redeem EUR 1.5 billion of 2.125% subordinated Tier 2 notes on their next reset date of 26 May 2026, having already obtained European Central Bank approval. ING emphasized that future call decisions on outstanding debt will be taken on an economic basis considering market conditions, regulatory capital requirements and the interests of all stakeholders, underlining active management of its capital structure and regulatory capital stack.
