Summit Hotel Properties Announces New $650 Million Credit Facility

Tipranks - Wed Jul 1, 4:06PM CDT

End of Quarter Sale - 70% Off

Summit Hotel Properties ( (INN) ) just unveiled an update.

On June 29, 2026, Summit Hotel OP, LP, the operating arm of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc., entered into a new $650 million senior unsecured credit facility with Bank of America as administrative agent, replacing its prior credit agreement. The amended facility consists of a $400 million revolving credit line, a $200 million term loan, and a $50 million delayed draw term loan, all supported by guarantees from the parent company and subsidiaries that own or lease qualifying unencumbered hotel assets.

The revolver matures in 2030 with an extension option to 2031, while the term loans mature in 2031, and the facility includes an accordion feature allowing total commitments to rise to $900 million, subject to lender consent. The agreement tightens financial discipline through leverage, coverage, and asset-based covenants, links borrowing capacity to an unencumbered pool that currently includes 52 hotels, and gives Summit flexible but covenant-bound access to liquidity, which may influence its balance sheet strategy and financing costs over the life of the facility.

The most recent analyst rating on (INN) stock is a Buy
with a $7.00 price target.

Spark’s Take on INN Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, INN is a Neutral.

The score is primarily supported by improving technical momentum and a constructive earnings outlook with raised guidance. Offsetting this, financial performance is mixed due to inconsistent profitability and moderate leverage/uncertainty around reported debt figures, while valuation benefits from a strong dividend yield but is constrained by a negative P/E driven by losses.
