International Seaways Updates Revolving Credit Facility Collateral Structure

End of Quarter Sale - 50% Off TipRanks

International Seaways ( (INSW) ) has shared an announcement.

On March 27, 2026, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of International Seaways entered into a joinder agreement to its existing $500 million revolving credit facility, becoming a subsidiary guarantor under that financing. As part of the agreement, the subsidiary pledged a VLCC tanker it owns as collateral, designating the vessel as a substitution asset replacing ships previously sold or released from the secured collateral pool, thereby maintaining the strength and continuity of the company’s borrowing base.

The move reflects International Seaways’ ongoing active management of its secured credit structure as it refreshes collateral in line with fleet changes. By substituting a modern VLCC into the facility’s collateral package, the company helps preserve access to liquidity under the revolving credit facility and supports financial flexibility for its tanker operations and capital allocation plans.

The most recent analyst rating on (INSW) stock is a Hold with a $71.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on International Seaways stock, see the INSW Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on INSW Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, INSW is a Neutral.

The score is anchored by strong balance-sheet positioning and a very positive earnings-call outlook on cash generation and shareholder returns. These positives are tempered by a concerning TTM deterioration in revenue/margins/free cash flow and by technically overbought conditions that elevate near-term pullback risk.
