Iron Mountain ( (IRM) ) just unveiled an update.
On June 26, 2026, Iron Mountain completed a private offering of $1.5 billion in 6.250% Senior Notes due 2035, issued at par and generating net proceeds of about $1.48 billion. The notes carry semi-annual interest payments starting January 15, 2027, mature on January 15, 2035, and were sold only to qualified institutional buyers and certain non-U.S. investors under Rule 144A and Regulation S.
Iron Mountain plans to use the proceeds primarily to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility, with any remainder earmarked for general corporate purposes, potentially improving its liquidity profile and extending its debt maturity ladder. The notes are senior unsecured obligations guaranteed by major U.S. subsidiaries, rank pari passu with existing senior debt, are subordinated to secured borrowings, and include customary covenants, redemption options, and change-of-control protections that shape creditor rights and the company’s financial flexibility.

Spark’s Take on IRM Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, IRM is a Neutral.
IRM scores as a moderate-risk opportunity: strong technical momentum and a clearly upbeat earnings update with raised guidance are the main positives, but the overall score is held back by elevated balance-sheet risk (negative equity) and negative free cash flow, alongside a high P/E that leaves less room for disappointment.
