Itau Unibanco ( (ITUB) ) has shared an update.

On May 8, 2026, Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. filed a Form 6-K in the United States to publish an updated global Policy for the Disclosure of Material Acts or Facts, aligning its practices with Brazil’s CVM Resolution No. 44 of August 23, 2021. The policy defines what constitutes material information, mandates equal and timely disclosure across all markets where its securities trade and sets duties for the Investor Relations Officer and a Disclosure and Trading Committee.

The new policy details examples of events that must be treated as material, from changes in control and major M&A transactions to significant contracts, accounting changes, profit and loss disclosures and legal proceedings that could affect the bank’s financial position. It also establishes which insiders and related parties are bound by these rules, reinforcing confidentiality obligations and procedures for responding to regulatory inquiries and unusual trading, which should strengthen governance and investor confidence in the bank’s information practices.

The most recent analyst rating on (ITUB) stock is a Buy with a $9.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Itau Unibanco stock, see the ITUB Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ITUB Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ITUB is a Outperform.

The score is driven primarily by solid financial performance (growth and ROE) but held back by leverage and cash-flow volatility. Technicals are supportive with a strong uptrend, though momentum looks somewhat stretched. Valuation is favorable given the moderate P/E and high dividend yield, and the latest earnings call reinforced constructive fundamentals with cautious but reasonable 2026 guidance.
