Orix ( (IX) ) has shared an announcement.
On April 13, 2026 U.S. time, an ORIX affiliate agreed to transfer all of its equity interest in IX NTI Holdings, LLC, the holding company for U.S. network deployment specialist Network Connex, to an Olympus Partners–affiliated special purpose company. ORIX Capital Partners, which acquired Network Connex in 2018, cited the portfolio company’s record revenue in the prior fiscal year and concluded that Olympus is better positioned to support its next growth phase, marking a typical private equity exit and removing IX NTI Holdings from ORIX’s consolidated subsidiaries.
IX NTI Holdings, formed in 2018 with paid-in capital of about $285 million, has shown steady revenue growth but volatile profitability, including a $38 million net loss in FY24. Following the transaction, ownership will shift from ORIX’s IX Capital NTI Holdings, LLC, which previously held 100% of membership interests, to NTI Buyer LLC, a newly formed Olympus-controlled vehicle, underscoring continued sponsor interest in U.S. digital infrastructure assets despite earnings variability at the holding company level.
Spark’s Take on IX Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, IX is a Outperform.
The score is primarily driven by mixed financial quality—strong growth/profitability but constrained by leverage and negative free-cash-flow trend. Technicals are supportive due to a clear uptrend, though overbought signals add near-term risk. Valuation and capital returns from the earnings call (moderate P/E, dividend, and expanded buybacks) provide additional support, offset by management’s cautious guidance and disclosed operating/credit headwinds.
