On February 25, 2026, KB Financial Group announced that the board of its wholly owned subsidiary KB Securities resolved to boost capital via a common share issuance. The company will issue 33,333,333 new common shares at 21,000 won each, raising roughly 700 billion won, with allocation of 0.1116244 new share per existing share and all new shares subject to a one-year lock-up at the Korea Securities Depository.
