McDonald’s ( (MCD) ) has shared an update.
On August 3, 2026, long-serving executive Joe Erlinger notified McDonald’s that he would step down as Executive Vice President and President of McDonald’s USA, effective August 4, 2026. Erlinger, who led the U.S. business for nearly seven years and strengthened its digital capabilities and franchise system, will remain as an advisor until early 2027 to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Effective August 4, 2026, the board appointed Skye Anderson as Executive Vice President and President of McDonald’s USA, elevating the former U.S. Chief Operating Officer and 26-year company veteran.
