Oppenheimer Remains a Buy on McDonald’s (MCD)

In a report released yesterday, Brian Bittner from Oppenheimer maintained a Buy rating on McDonald’s, with a price target of $355.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $326.30.

Bittner covers the Consumer Cyclical sector, focusing on stocks such as McDonald’s, Sweetgreen, and Darden Restaurants. According to TipRanks, Bittner has an average return of 5.7% and a 59.92% success rate on recommended stocks.

In addition to Oppenheimer, McDonald’s also received a Buy from Tigress Financial’s Ivan Feinseth in a report issued on March 6. However, on March 11, RBC Capital maintained a Hold rating on McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD).

Based on McDonald’s’ latest earnings release for the quarter ending December 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $7.01 billion and a net profit of $2.16 billion. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $6.39 billion and had a net profit of $2.02 billion

This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of MCD in relation to earlier this year. Earlier this month, Joseph M. Erlinger, the President of MCD sold 2,626.00 shares for a total of $862,220.84.
