Profile

New Flyer Industries Inc was incorporated on June 16, 2005 under the laws of the Province of Ontario. The Company along with its recently acquired NABI Bus, LLC subsidiary is the manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses in the United States and Canada. The business also includes aftermarket parts and support including the sale of bus parts. The Company operates in two segments; Bus Operations and Aftermarket Operations as the Company's strategic business units. The strategic business units offer different products and services, and are managed separately as require different technology and marketing strategies. The Bus Operations segment includes NFI and NABI Bus and derives its revenue from the manufacture of heavy-duty transit buses for public transportation. The Aftermarket Operations segment includes NFI and NABI Parts and derives its revenue from the provision of service parts and support related to heavy-duty transit buses. The Company electrification development has been focused on the Xcelsior platform. The Company provides support for the electric bus. The Company's MiDi is a medium-sized, low-floor bus that is for use in medium-duty transit, community shuttle services and for connecting passengers to high-frequency transit routes. The Company's Xcelsior provides services to BRT and are of 35', 40' and 60' lengths and with a variety of propulsion systems.
