Realty Income ( (O) ) has issued an announcement.

On March 2, 2026, Realty Income announced that Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary Michelle Bushore will leave the company after a transition period ending September 2, 2026. During this period she will retain her current role, salary and benefits while the company searches for a new chief legal officer, and her departure will be treated as a qualifying termination under Realty Income’s executive severance plan.

Under a transition agreement dated February 26, 2026, Bushore will also receive a retention equity grant of restricted shares worth $512,663 that vests at the end of the transition period, contingent on her continued service and release of claims. Management praised her contributions, highlighting her role in two pivotal M&A deals and in shaping governance and compliance practices, suggesting the leadership change is orderly and intended to preserve stability in Realty Income’s legal function rather than signaling a shift in strategic direction.

The most recent analyst rating on (O) stock is a Hold with a $68.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Realty Income stock, see the O Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on O Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, O is a Neutral.

The score is driven primarily by solid underlying financial/cash-flow strength tempered by uncertainty in the latest reported financial statement line items. Technicals are supportive due to a clear uptrend but are capped by overbought signals. Valuation is a notable headwind given the very high P/E despite an attractive dividend, while the earnings call adds a modest positive tilt on steady guidance and improving credit-loss expectations.
