Grupo Aeroportuario Del Centro ( (OMAB) ) has provided an announcement.
In the first quarter of 2026, OMA reported a 4.7% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic to 6.7 million, driven mainly by domestic demand and new routes, while international traffic dipped slightly and some airports such as Mazatlán and Culiacán saw declines. Aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues together rose 4.1%, adjusted EBITDA grew 2.1% with a 73.4% margin, and the group invested about Ps.605 million in Master Development Plan and strategic projects, but higher operating and maintenance costs led to a 4.1% drop in net income and a 1.4% decline in operating income compared with 1Q25.
Commercial revenue streams benefited from higher penetration in parking, restaurants, retail and VIP lounges, and OMA’s cargo and industrial park businesses posted solid growth, partly offsetting weaker hotel revenues. The company’s cost base rose sharply due to expanded maintenance provisions and higher contracted services, which compressed profitability despite stronger traffic and diversified revenue growth, underscoring the capital-intensive nature of regulated airport operations and the importance of executing its development plans efficiently for shareholders and other stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (OMAB) stock is a Buy with a $134.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Grupo Aeroportuario Del Centro stock, see the OMAB Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on OMAB Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, OMAB is a Outperform.
OMAB scores well primarily on strong profitability and solid free cash flow, reinforced by a constructive outlook from the earnings call (tariff upside and the approved MDP supporting growth/capacity). The score is tempered by rising leverage and slightly softer recent revenue/cash conversion, while technicals are supportive and valuation is reasonable but not cheap given the P/E.
