Ormat Technologies, Inc. is the only vertically integrated company that is primarily engaged in the geothermal and recovered energy generation business. The company designs, develops, owns and operates clean, environmentally friendly geothermal and recovered energy-based power plants. Its robust portfolio is spread across countries. The company recently expanded operations to include the provision of services in the energy storage, demand response and energy management markets. It currently conducts business activities in two business segments: Electricity segment: The company develops and operates geothermal and recovered energy-based power plants and geothermal power plants and sells the electricity it generates. Product segment - the company manufactures and sells equipment for geothermal and recovered energy-based electricity generation, and remote power units and provides services related to the engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of geothermal and recovered energy-based power plants.
