Stifel Nicolaus Sticks to Their Buy Rating for Pentair (PNR)

In a report released yesterday, Nathan Jones from Stifel Nicolaus maintained a Buy rating on Pentair, with a price target of $126.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $110.70.

Jones covers the Industrials sector, focusing on stocks such as Parker Hannifin, ITT, and Curtiss-Wright. According to TipRanks, Jones has an average return of 20.2% and a 71.20% success rate on recommended stocks.

In addition to Stifel Nicolaus, Pentair also received a Buy from CFRA’s Jonathan Sakraida in a report issued on October 22. However, on the same day, KeyBanc maintained a Hold rating on Pentair (NYSE: PNR).

Based on Pentair’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending June 30, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $1.12 billion and a net profit of $148.5 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $1.1 billion and had a net profit of $186.1 million
