Ferrari ( (IT:RACE) ) has issued an update.

Ferrari N.V. reported on June 3, 2026 that it continued executing the €250 million second tranche of its multi-year share buyback program, itself part of an approximately €3.5 billion plan expected to run through 2030. Between May 26 and May 28, 2026, the company repurchased 90,239 common shares across Euronext Milan and the NYSE, for a total consideration of about €25.76 million, with transactions disclosed daily on both exchanges.

Since the launch of this second tranche on April 10, 2026 through June 2, 2026, Ferrari has invested roughly €104.94 million on 360,810 shares on Euronext Milan and about €17.55 million equivalent on 62,087 shares on the NYSE, increasing its treasury stock position. As of June 2, 2026, Ferrari held 17,842,568 common shares in treasury, or 9.20% of issued common shares (9.53% including special voting shares), while a previously approved cancellation of treasury shares from the April 15, 2026 AGM had not yet been implemented, underlining ongoing balance-sheet optimization and shareholder-distribution efforts.

The company also disclosed that, from the start of the broader €3.5 billion buyback program on January 5, 2026 to June 2, 2026, it had repurchased a total of 1,308,342 own common shares on Euronext Milan and the NYSE, including sell-to-cover transactions, for an aggregate consideration of about €383.25 million. This sustained pace of repurchases reinforces Ferrari’s capital-return strategy and may support earnings per share over time by reducing the free float, while the pending cancellation of treasury shares could further enhance capital efficiency once executed.
