The latest update is out from RB Global ( (TSE:RBA) ).
RB Global has agreed to acquire BigIron Auction Company, a scaled online marketplace for agricultural equipment, land, livestock and other farm and ranch assets, in a move that accelerates its strategic expansion into U.S. agriculture. BigIron, deeply rooted in rural communities and processing about $885 million in gross transaction value over the last twelve months, will continue to operate as a stand-alone brand while leveraging RB Global’s industrial footprint.
The deal is expected to broaden RB Global’s reach among farmers, landowners and rural enterprises by combining BigIron’s ag-focused digital platform with RB Global’s onsite and offsite channels. Co-founders Mark and Ron Stock will remain involved in the business, and the transaction is slated to close in the second half of 2026, pending customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:RBA) stock is a Buy with a C$123.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on RB Global stock, see the TSE:RBA Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on TSE:RBA Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:RBA is a Neutral.
The score is driven mainly by solid financial performance (scaled revenue base, positive earnings, and strong free cash flow) and supportive earnings-call guidance for continued GTV/EBITDA growth. These positives are tempered by weak technical momentum and a demanding valuation (high P/E), with rising leverage and margin compression as key fundamental watch items.
