The study titled “A FIH Phase 1/2 Study to Assess Safety, Tolerability, and Preliminary Anti-Tumor Activity of REGN17372… in Participants With Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma” tests a new drug combo in adults whose cancer has come back or stopped responding to treatment. It aims to see if the mix is safe, how well it works, and what dose makes the most sense in real-world care.

The trial evaluates REGN17372, a lab-made antibody, given together with linvoseltamab, another antibody already in development. Both are designed to help the immune system find and attack myeloma cells, with the combo meant to boost activity beyond what linvoseltamab can do alone.

The study is interventional and runs in two stages, Phase 1 and Phase 2, with a focus on treatment rather than prevention or diagnosis. Patients are assigned in a planned sequence rather than by random draw, there is no blinding, and early parts focus on dose finding while later parts compare the combo against linvoseltamab alone.

The trial was first submitted on March 2, 2026, marking the formal start of its regulatory path and site activation work. The latest update on June 17, 2026, confirms that the status is recruiting, which means sites are open and enrolling new participants while the protocol and timelines continue to be refined.

For investors, this update signals ongoing pipeline execution at Regeneron (REGN) in a crowded multiple myeloma field that includes players like Johnson & Johnson and Bristol Myers. Early safety and activity signals from this first-in-human combo could shift sentiment on Regeneron’s oncology optionality and, if positive, support a higher valuation for its bispecific antibody platform over the medium term.

The study remains active and recruiting, with further details and future updates available on the ClinicalTrials.gov portal under NCT07455851.
