Subject to final appointment, expected by March 2026, Stantec will provide design and technical services through a program that could run to 2039, covering new assets, upgrades, and resilience-focused enhancements to sewer networks, treatment facilities, blue‑green infrastructure, water mains, and other critical systems across Scotland, reinforcing the firm’s long-standing relationship with Scottish Water and strengthening its position in the UK water sector as utilities accelerate low‑carbon, nature‑based infrastructure investments.
