Elevra Breaks Ground on Fully Funded North American Lithium Expansion

Tipranks - Mon Jun 29, 5:56PM CDT

End of Quarter Sale - 70% Off

Elevra Lithium ( (AU:ELV) ) has provided an update.

Elevra Lithium has broken ground on its fully funded North American Lithium Expansion Project, following a May 2026 capital raise that strengthened its balance sheet and secured financing for staged growth. The company has already ordered key equipment to support the development schedule and mitigate execution risks at the operation in Québec.

Stage 1 of the expansion, targeted for completion by mid-2027, is expected to lift annual spodumene concentrate capacity by 15–20% while lowering unit operating costs through scale and efficiency gains. The project is intended to reinforce Elevra’s role as a strategically important domestic supplier of traceable lithium to North America’s rapidly growing electric vehicle and energy storage sectors, aligning with regional efforts to reduce reliance on external battery material sources.

The most recent analyst rating on (AU:ELV) stock is a Buy
