J.P. Morgan Sticks to Their Hold Rating for Talos Energy (TALO)

J.P. Morgan analyst Arun Jayaram maintained a Hold rating on Talos Energy yesterday and set a price target of $16.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $16.28.

According to TipRanks, Jayaram is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 14.6% and a 63.29% success rate. Jayaram covers the Energy sector, focusing on stocks such as Conocophillips, Murphy Oil, and EQT.

In addition to J.P. Morgan, Talos Energy also received a Hold from TipRanks – Anthropic’s Anthropic Oil and Gas Exploration and Production in a report issued on March 21. However, on the same day, TipRanks – PerPlexity upgraded Talos Energy (NYSE: TALO) to a Buy.

Based on Talos Energy’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending December 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $392.24 million and a GAAP net loss of $204.64 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $485.19 million and had a GAAP net loss of $64.51 million
