Telefonica (0TDE) Receives a Hold from J.P. Morgan

In a report released yesterday, Akhil Dattani from J.P. Morgan maintained a Hold rating on Telefonica, with a price target of €4.10. The company’s shares closed yesterday at €4.58.

According to TipRanks, Dattani is a 4-star analyst with an average return of 4.0% and a 53.49% success rate. Dattani covers the Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Deutsche Telekom, ORANGE SA, and Royal KPN NV.

Telefonica has an analyst consensus of Hold, with a price target consensus of €4.68, implying a 2.25% upside from current levels. In a report released on October 17, Barclays also maintained a Hold rating on the stock with a €4.80 price target.

Based on Telefonica’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending June 30, the company reported a quarterly revenue of €8.79 billion and a GAAP net loss of €51 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of €10.26 billion and had a net profit of €447 million
