Barclays Remains a Hold on Telefonica (0TDE)

Barclays analyst Mathieu Robilliard maintained a Hold rating on Telefonica yesterday. The company’s shares closed last Friday at €3.63.

Robilliard covers the Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Telefonica, NOS SGPS, and Telecom Italia SPA. According to TipRanks, Robilliard has an average return of 4.0% and a 55.88% success rate on recommended stocks.

In addition to Barclays, Telefonica also received a Hold from Kepler Capital ‘s Javier Borrachero in a report issued on December 5. However, on December 4, Bank of America Securities downgraded Telefonica (LSE: 0TDE) to a Sell.

Based on Telefonica’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending September 30, the company reported a quarterly revenue of €9.36 billion and a net profit of €276 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of €10.02 billion and had a net profit of €10 million

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 16 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is positive on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders buying their shares of 0TDE in relation to earlier this year.
