An announcement from UFP Industries ( (UFPI) ) is now available.

On May 4, 2026, UFP Industries announced it would acquire the operating assets of John Rock, Inc., a Pennsylvania- and Virginia-based new pallet manufacturer and subsidiary of Kamps Pallets, for approximately $48 million. The deal includes three facilities in Coatesville and Mifflintown, Pa., and Bowling Green, Va., adding roughly $82 million in annual sales and about 250 employees to UFP’s PalletOne unit.

The acquisition expands PalletOne’s footprint in the strategically important northeast region and bolsters UFP Packaging’s ability to serve national customers with operations there. By integrating John Rock’s operations into its manufacturing network, UFP aims to capture operational synergies, improve efficiency and service levels, and build on John Rock’s established customer relationships to support long-term growth in its core packaging business.
