Evercore ISI Reaffirms Their Hold Rating on Virtu Financial (VIRT)

Evercore ISI analyst Kaimon Chung maintained a Hold rating on Virtu Financial (VIRTResearch Report) yesterday and set a price target of $42.00. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $38.54.

In addition to Evercore ISI, Virtu Financial also received a Hold from UBS’s Alex Kramm in a report issued yesterday. However, on the same day, Citi reiterated a Buy rating on Virtu Financial (NASDAQ: VIRT).

Based on Virtu Financial’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending December 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of $834.29 million and a net profit of $94.06 million. In comparison, last year the company earned a revenue of $352.44 million and had a net profit of $4.35 million

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 33 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of VIRT in relation to earlier this year. Most recently, in February 2025, Brett Fairclough, the Co-President & Co-COO of VIRT sold 72,967.00 shares for a total of $2,688,104.28.
