This is the opening weekend of Toronto’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, a 192-year-old event with a rich history of butter sculptures, giant vegetables and equestrian showmanship. And since 2014 is also, according to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of the Horse, there are plenty of reasons to saddle up this fall.
