You can stretch this recipe by rolling the balls into tiny pieces.
Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup pitted dates, chopped finely
1 cup walnuts, chopped
2 eggs
Method
Mix flour and baking powder with sugar and salt.
Add dates and nuts, then add beaten eggs.
Spread as thinly as possible in a well-greased shallow pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
When baked, cut into small squares and roll into balls.
They can then be rolled in a touch of sugar or shredded coconut.
