Ripasso is concentrated valpolicella, the medium-bodied red that's popular in pizza-and-pasta restaurants. Here it's still medium-bodied but with ample flavour, showing polished texture, candied fruit, a floral nuance and zippy acidity on the slightly astringent finish.
