This is remarkable Châteauneuf for the money and pretty much the price of entry for the appellation. It's juicy and concentrated (thank you, fine growing season of 2010), with ample cherry-liqueur fruit infused with lavender, fennel, thyme and black pepper. Cellar it for up to 10 years. Patience will pay dividends, though it's awesome now.
