How refreshing in more ways than one. It's a gamay, and red grapes don't come more refreshing. It's also from the Loire Valley, not the grape's far more common source, Beaujolais. This is cheerful stuff, brimming with bright, candied berry supported by cracked pepper, herbs and a whiff of earth. Roast chicken or pork would be nice, even Thanksgiving turkey.
