wine review

As part of an urban-youth-driven wave, this is the latest stylish moscato to land on our shores. It's got a pretty label, with an abstract polka-dot pattern, and it's very well done. Beware, like most affordable moscatos surfacing nowadays, it's medium-sweet and gently effervescent. This one, though from a large company, convincingly impersonates a more expensive moscato d'Asti from Italy. Fragrant, floral and brimming with white-table-grape flavour, it weighs in at just 8-per-cent alcohol.
