This is an uncommon blend of mostly cabernet sauvignon with syrah, carmenère, petit verdot and petite sirah. A gorgeous, full-bodied red, it moves through an exciting arc, with lusciously ripe berries and a smooth texture that stays admirably dry, adding notes of cigar tobacco, sweet spices, mint and black pepper. The tannins are substantial but supple. It's drinking beautifully now and should improve with at least 10 years in the cellar. Available only in Quebec.
