Expertly grown, Peninsula Ridge's 2012 cab-merlot is a product of the warm 2012 growing season that delivered so many great red values from Niagara. It's full-bodied and fully ripe yet very dry and elegantly structured – more Bordeaux than Napa, certainly. Smooth yet crisp, it displays currants, tobacco and a nuance of herbs. Way to go.
