The composition of Blind Trust White varies from year to year, and, in keeping with the name, it remains behind wraps until you cut open the foil at the top of the bottle, where the breakdown is listed. The 2013 is a blend of 56-per-cent pinot gris, 25-per-cent pinot blanc and 19-per-cent viognier, all grapes that perform well in the Okanagan. This one's silky and medium-bodied, with a medley of orchard fruit enhanced by a toasty whiff and enlivened by just the right amount of acidity. Nice for roast chicken or medium-weight fish, even with a hint of spicy heat. Available direct, laughingstock.ca.
