Flagstone likes to feature intriguing, artsy names for its wines, including Writer's Block, Music Room and Word of Mouth. "Poetry" is meant to convey the pared-down essence of the cabernet sauvignon grape that's supposedly captured here, as short poetic verses capture ideas. At this price, one might expect a pretty paired-down wine indeed, but there's lots going on. Medium-full-bodied, it's juicy and bright, with a medley of berry-like fruit joined by notes of chocolate, smoke and grilled herbs. Good for grilled red meats; $13.99 in New Brunswick.
