wine review

This is made by a tiny winery in the pastoral environs of British Columbia's beautiful Saltspring Island, home to no shortage of artists, organic farmers and excellent goat cheese. The grapes come from the Fraser Valley on the mainland and the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island. Dry but with a sweetly rounded core, it comes across like an orchard spanning the seasons, with cherry blossom, citrus and cidery apples – spring, summer and autumn. Available direct, mivwine.ca.
