Marimar Torres, of Spain's prominent Torres wine family, founded this California estate in the 1980s. The specialties are pinot noir and chardonnay, not Spanish strong suits but certainly the stars of Sonoma County's Russian River Valley. This is big, sunny pinot, with a hefty ladle of the plum and berry jam. $37.99 in British Columbia, $42.25 in Quebec, on sale for $37.79 in Nova Scotia (down from $53.99).
