Lynn Coady recently took the reins of our Group Therapy column. She has always been a good listener and early in her career was in great demand by the most prestigious international complaint departments. Eventually, the jet-setting grew wearisome. It was time for a lateral move: it was time to opine. She now dispenses wisdom with the combined ease, sympathy and candor of Judge Judy after a full spa weekend.

She is also the award-winning author of four books of fiction including the novels Strange Heaven and Mean Boy. Her non-fiction has been featured in magazines and newspapers across Canada including Canadian Geographic Travel, Chatelaine, EnRoute and unlimited magazine. Coady writes, edits and teaches out of Edmonton, where she also lives.

Micah Toub is a writer living in Toronto. He received a National Magazine Award in Personal Journalism for "Be the Penis," an article published in Toro Magazine, which recounts how his father helped him to get in touch with his inner erection. His forthcoming memoir, Growing Up Jung: Coming-of-age as the Son of Two Shrinks, will be published in fall 2010 by Doubleday Canada and W.W. Norton. In addition to his column and journalism that appear in The Globe and Mail, Toub's work has been published in a variety of magazines including The Walrus, Maisonneuve, Report on Business, Azure's Designlines, Quill and Quire, and Driven.
