Eat, pray, buy www.fashionista.com

While we wait with bated breath for the inevitable Sex and the City 2 product tie-ins, it seems that SATC production company Dog-eared is scheming to get its hands on women's hard-earned money another way, too.

The firm announced that it will be producing jewellery, books and travel-related items for the upcoming film version of Eat Pray Love, Women's Wear Daily reports.

In a post on Fashionista.com, exasperated blogger Britt Aboutaleb argues that "if a movie's release prompts me to buy a book, I'll search extra hard to buy a copy without an actor's face on the cover."

We're guessing she'll skip the probable Eat Pray Love "Indian style" prayer beads made in some factory in China.

This one's for all those snail-mailers with green thumbs out there: According to Trend Central, a site called www.postcarden.com offers nifty little postcards cum tiny gardens.

Just unfold the notes into a 3D cityscape, Victorian garden or garden shed, sprinkle with the seeds included and display in a sunny spot. Try sending that over e-mail.
