Breakfast in Sudbury on a rainy day. There's a portobello mushroom hiding under the poached eggs.

I passed on the hollandaise and asked for fruit instead of home fries, which the Travelway Inn was only too happy to do.

Ian Brown eats Canada

Because, well... because I would like not to have a heart attack before I get home from this odyssey.

Yesterday in North Bay I watched a guy get out of his car in the liquor store parking lot. (Of course.)

He was about five-seven, and was wearing a very expensive looking yellow golf shirt, black slacks and polished loafers. Snappy car. Obviously successful. But my god his body!

He looked like a bowling ball with a head. And all in the belly. His face was the color of ketchup just from rolling out of his car.

I've witnessed it again and again even in the three days I've been on the road. It's already clear we - and I - eat too much.
