A 20-year-old woman has pleaded guilty in a case in which a baby's body was tossed in a dumpster in Richmond and later found in a landfill in Delta after an extensive search.
The woman admitted to improperly disposing of a body, but because of a publication ban the media can't report any details released in court today, except that the woman will be sentenced in March.
In late February the woman gave birth to a full-term baby boy without telling anyone, including her boyfriend, that she was pregnant.
Police say she had her boyfriend help her wrap the dead baby in a towel and placed it in a garbage bag before throwing it in a dumpster.
