A limousine has struck a group of pedestrians in Vancouver, injuring nine people.
Police say the accident happened at 1000 block of Davie Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, and that none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
Officers believe that an altercation occurred outside the limousine before it went mobile and mounted the curb, striking the pedestrians.
The vehicle travelled for some distance eastbound along Davie St. before coming to rest.
Police say the driver is co-operating with the investigators, and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision.
One person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
