A boil water advisory for a community on Manitoulin Island has been lifted.
Residents in Manitowaning were ordered to boil their water starting Thursday after the local water treatment plant was hit by lightning.
The strike caused a temporary loss of pressure in the system, raising concerns about water quality.
Officials say tests have confirmed the water is now safe to use.
They say residents should run faucets for a few minutes to clear out any dirty water in pipes.
