Vaughan firefighter Gianmarco Solimena, 30, has been charged with one count of careless driving following a fatal collision between a fire truck and car on Feb. 2. The pumper truck he was driving in response to a call struck a Toyota Corolla being driven by a 54-year-old man, who was pronounced dead in hospital.
