A woman from Newfoundland and Labrador finally has the news she's been hoping for since her cat disappeared almost a year ago.
Kelly Pearce's beloved cat Oreo went missing from her Mount Pearl home last September, a month before she moved to a new house in Conception Bay South.
Ms. Pearce did everything in her power to try to locate her pet, plastering posters all over St. John's and Mount Pearl and setting up a Facebook group.
The woman who bought her old house even put out food for the feline every day, but there was still no sign of Oreo.
Last Saturday, Ms. Pearce received a phone call informing her that Oreo had returned to her old home.
Ms. Pearce says although she doesn't know what happened to the cat, she's just happy to have it back home.
