Nova Scotia's Justice Department is offering a $150,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in an unsolved murder case.
The skeletal remains of Rachel Joy MacQuarrie of Dartmouth were found in June 2002 by a construction crew working on a highway near Mount Uniacke.
Ms. MacQuarrie was last seen almost five years earlier in the Halifax area.
She was reported missing on Oct. 8, 1997.
In a statement, Justice Minister Ross Landry is asking for the public's help.
Those who come forward with information will be expected to provide their name and contact information, and they may be called to testify in court.
